Internal glazing in Bishopston

Internal glass in a commuter area

In Bishopston's suburban streets we see plenty of 1930s and post-war houses where a glazed door or screen transforms a dark hall.

Beyond Bishopston, we cover the rest of Bristol — Georgian terraces in Clifton, Victorian houses in Bishopston and Totterdown, and harbourside apartments — and offices around Temple Quarter and the city centre, plus creative studios in Stokes Croft.

Popular in Bishopston

• Glass pivot doors — tall doors that turn on a pivot rather than hinges — a statement opening
• Internal glass balustrades — frameless glass guarding for stairs, landings and mezzanines
• Internal windows and borrowed light — glazed panels and fanlights that pull daylight into dark hallways and landings
• Sliding glass internal doors — space-saving glass doors on a top track or pocketed into the wall
