Who we are

The data controller for personal information collected through this website is S&K Group Holdings Ltd, company number 16703925, Unit 1 Hems Crescent, Great Barr, Birmingham B43 5DG. Internal Glazing is a trading name of S&K Glazing Limited (company number 14088194), part of the S&K Group, which carries out surveys and installations for enquiries made through this website.

What we collect

Enquiries: your name, phone number, email address, postcode, the service you're interested in, your message, and the page you sent it from. From the guide-price tool we also receive the options you chose and the guide price shown.
Live chat: anything you type into the chat window and the details you give in the pre-chat form.
WhatsApp and phone: your number and the messages or photos you send.
Analytics (only if you accept): pages visited, device and approximate location, collected by Google Analytics.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use enquiry information to reply, arrange a survey, prepare a quote and carry out work you ask for. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing that contract. We use analytics data, only with your consent, to understand which pages help people. We keep records we're required to keep by law, such as invoices.

Who we share it with

Enquiries are shared within the S&K Group with S&K Glazing Limited and with the surveyors and installers who carry out your job. We use service providers who process data for us: Web3Forms (form delivery), Tawk.to (live chat), Google (Analytics, and web fonts, which receive your IP address when a page loads), Netlify (website hosting) and an image-hosting service that delivers some photographs on the site. We don't sell your data or share it for marketing by others. Some of these providers are based outside the UK; where they are, transfers are covered by UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual safeguards.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't go ahead are deleted within 24 months. Customer and job records are kept for seven years for tax and guarantee purposes. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Contact us using the details above. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Cookies and similar storage

We ask before setting any analytics cookies. Here's what the site uses:

ig_consent (your browser's local storage) — remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics. Strictly necessary.
