About fire-rated glazed screens
Fire-rated glazed screens are glass partitions and doors tested as complete systems to resist fire for a set time — usually 30 or 60 minutes — so corridors, stairwells and escape routes can stay light and open. Full details on fire-rated glazed screens.
Fire-rated glazed screens for Shropshire properties
Much of what we fit in Shropshire goes into timber-framed buildings in Shrewsbury and Ludlow and 1970s–90s homes in Telford. The survey is where we spot the things that change a price — a sloping floor, a hidden pipe, a wall that needs a lintel — so there are no surprises later.
Cost and lead time in Shropshire
Expect roughly £850–£1,500 per m² plus VAT for fire-rated glazed screens, fitted. Size, glass type and doors move the figure most, and the survey gives you an exact fixed price. Survey slots across Shropshire (SY, TF, WV) are usually available within a week or two, and lead time is typically 6–8 weeks from survey.
