Glass manifestation and privacy film for Hertfordshire properties

Much of our Hertfordshire office work comes from offices in Watford, Hatfield and Stevenage. Landlord consent, out-of-hours access and building rules are part of the job, and we supply the drawings and method statements that go with them. Homeowners here use us too, particularly in Arts and Crafts houses in Letchworth, garden-city homes in Welwyn and commuter semis in Watford and St Albans.

Cost and lead time in Hertfordshire

As a guide, glass manifestation and privacy film typically cost £35–£75 per m² plus VAT, supplied and fitted, with a minimum job of about £250. Your fixed price comes after the survey. Whether you're in Watford or a village outside it, our surveyors cover AL, SG, WD, EN, HP, CM postcodes — expect usually 1–2 weeks from artwork sign-off.

Building Regulations and safety

In non-domestic buildings, Approved Document K asks for manifestation on critical glazing at two levels — between 850mm and 1000mm, and between 1400mm and 1600mm above floor level — with enough contrast to be seen.
