About internal windows and borrowed light
An internal window is a fixed glazed panel set into an internal wall to borrow daylight from a bright room for a dark one — an inner hallway, a landing, a windowless bathroom or a box room. A glazed fanlight over a door does the same job. Full details on internal windows and borrowed light.
Internal windows and borrowed light for Surrey properties
We regularly work in Arts and Crafts villas, Edwardian detached homes and commuter semis along the rail lines around Surrey. In older homes we scribe frames to walls that aren't plumb; in newer ones it's usually a case of finding the studs and services before we fix. Businesses here come to us as well, particularly offices in Guildford, Woking and Redhill.
