About sliding glass internal doors
A sliding glass internal door runs along a track above the opening instead of swinging into the room. It saves floor space and suits openings where a hinged door would clash with furniture, worktops or another door. Full details on sliding glass internal doors.
Sliding glass internal doors for East Sussex properties
Homes in East Sussex take in Regency townhouses in Brighton and Hove, Victorian seaside villas in Eastbourne and Hastings, and weatherboarded cottages. That variety matters for glazing: an opening in a solid Victorian wall is prepared differently from a stud partition in a newer house, and we plan for it at survey. We also work for local businesses, including creative agencies and offices across Brighton and Hove.
Cost and lead time in East Sussex
Expect roughly £1,400–£2,800 per door or item plus VAT for sliding glass internal doors, fitted. Size, glass type and doors move the figure most, and the survey gives you an exact fixed price. We cover every BN, TN postcode in East Sussex. Once you approve the drawing, lead time is around 4–6 weeks from survey.
Building Regulations and safety
Door glass is safety glass throughout. A pocket door needs a stud or new cavity wall, and we confirm what your wall allows at survey.
