About sliding glass internal doors
Barn-style doors slide across the face of the wall on an exposed track, pocket doors slide into a cavity inside the wall, and sliding screens pair a moving panel with fixed glass. Doors come framed in steel-look profiles or as frameless glass. Full details on sliding glass internal doors.
Sliding glass internal doors for Northamptonshire properties
Much of what we fit in Northamptonshire goes into Victorian terraces in Northampton, ironstone cottages and newer estates around Corby and Wellingborough. The survey is where we spot the things that change a price — a sloping floor, a hidden pipe, a wall that needs a lintel — so there are no surprises later. Businesses here come to us as well, particularly offices and logistics sites along the M1 and A14.
Cost and lead time in Northamptonshire
As a guide, sliding glass internal doors typically cost £1,400–£2,800 per door or item plus VAT, supplied and fitted, with a minimum job of about £1,400. Your fixed price comes after the survey. We cover every NN postcode in Northamptonshire. Once you approve the drawing, lead time is around 4–6 weeks from survey.
Building Regulations and safety
Door glass is safety glass throughout. A pocket door needs a stud or new cavity wall, and we confirm what your wall allows at survey.
