About sliding glass internal doors
A sliding glass internal door runs along a track above the opening instead of swinging into the room. It saves floor space and suits openings where a hinged door would clash with furniture, worktops or another door. Full details on sliding glass internal doors.
Sliding glass internal doors for South Wales properties
Much of what we fit in South Wales goes into Victorian terraces in the valleys and Cardiff's suburbs, and marina apartments in Cardiff Bay and Swansea. The survey is where we spot the things that change a price — a sloping floor, a hidden pipe, a wall that needs a lintel — so there are no surprises later. Businesses here come to us as well, particularly offices around Cardiff's Central Square, Newport and Swansea.
Cost and lead time in South Wales
As a guide, sliding glass internal doors typically cost £1,400–£2,800 per door or item plus VAT, supplied and fitted, with a minimum job of about £1,400. Your fixed price comes after the survey. Whether you're in Cardiff or a village outside it, our surveyors cover CF, NP, SA postcodes — expect around 4–6 weeks from survey.
Building Regulations and safety
Door glass is safety glass throughout. A pocket door needs a stud or new cavity wall, and we confirm what your wall allows at survey.
