About steel-look internal screens
A steel-look internal screen is a glazed partition with slim, usually black, glazing bars — the look of an old factory window, made for the inside of a home. It divides a kitchen from a living space, or a hallway from a lounge, while daylight carries straight through. Full details on steel-look internal screens.
Steel-look internal screens for Gloucestershire properties
Across Gloucestershire we work in a real mix of properties — Regency townhouses in Cheltenham, Cotswold stone cottages and dockside apartments in Gloucester. Each brings its own details: uneven floors in older houses, deep skirtings, solid or stud walls and ceilings that aren't quite square. We measure for all of it. Businesses here come to us as well, particularly offices in Cheltenham and on Gloucester's business parks.
Cost and lead time in Gloucestershire
Expect roughly £550–£900 per m² plus VAT for steel-look internal screens, fitted. Size, glass type and doors move the figure most, and the survey gives you an exact fixed price. Survey slots across Gloucestershire (GL) are usually available within a week or two, and lead time is typically 4–6 weeks from survey sign-off, with fitting usually done in a day.
