About steel-look internal screens
A steel-look internal screen is a glazed partition with slim, usually black, glazing bars — the look of an old factory window, made for the inside of a home. It divides a kitchen from a living space, or a hallway from a lounge, while daylight carries straight through. Full details on steel-look internal screens.
Steel-look internal screens for Leicestershire properties
Much of what we fit in Leicestershire goes into Victorian terraces in Clarendon Park, 1930s semis and village homes across the county. The survey is where we spot the things that change a price — a sloping floor, a hidden pipe, a wall that needs a lintel — so there are no surprises later. On the commercial side, much of our Leicestershire work involves offices and distribution hubs around Leicester and the M1 corridor.
Cost and lead time in Leicestershire
Expect roughly £550–£900 per m² plus VAT for steel-look internal screens, fitted. Size, glass type and doors move the figure most, and the survey gives you an exact fixed price. We cover every LE postcode in Leicestershire. Once you approve the drawing, lead time is typically 4–6 weeks from survey sign-off, with fitting usually done in a day.

Questions from Leicestershire customers
Who fits steel-look internal screens in Leicestershire?
Our own installation team, working to the drawing agreed at survey. The same company quotes, manufactures and fits your glazing.
Do you fit steel-look internal screens in Leicester?
Yes. We cover Leicester and the rest of Leicestershire, including Leicester, Loughborough, Hinckley. Surveys are free and there's no obligation.
Will a glass screen stop noise?
A single-glazed screen softens noise but won't stop it. Laminated acoustic glass and good door seals help; for a quiet home office, ask about an acoustic specification.
