Internal glass in a market town
Kendal's older town-centre properties often have awkward openings and uneven floors, which is where made-to-measure glazing earns its keep.
Elsewhere in Cumbria our jobs take in stone-built cottages in the Lake District, Victorian terraces in Carlisle and Kendal, and barn conversions, plus offices in Carlisle and industrial sites around Barrow and West Cumbria.

As a guide, £550–£900 per m² plus VAT, supplied and fitted. The survey gives you a fixed price.
Do I need Building Regulations approval for internal glass?
Most internal glazing doesn't need an application, but it must use safety glass in critical locations — near floors and in and around doors — under Approved Document K. Glass on an escape route may need to be fire-rated, and cutting into a load-bearing wall needs Building Control sign-off.
