About double-glazed acoustic partitions
Sound performance depends on the whole build — glass thickness, acoustic interlayers, the cavity, the door and the seals where the partition meets the ceiling and floor. A double-glazed partition with acoustic laminated glass typically reaches Rw 40–48 dB, against roughly 32–37 dB for a single-glazed wall. Full details on double-glazed acoustic partitions.
Double-glazed acoustic partitions for Bristol properties
Much of our Bristol office work comes from offices around Temple Quarter and the city centre, plus creative studios in Stokes Croft. Landlord consent, out-of-hours access and building rules are part of the job, and we supply the drawings and method statements that go with them. We also fit glazing in homes across Bristol, from Georgian terraces in Clifton, Victorian houses in Bishopston and Totterdown, and harbourside apartments.
Cost and lead time in Bristol

Building Regulations and safety
Safety glass and manifestation apply as for any office glazing. For a stated sound rating, the ceiling void above may also need a barrier, which we check at survey.
