About frameless glass room dividers
A frameless glass room divider is a wall of toughened glass panels held in slim top and bottom channels, with no vertical frames between the panes. It separates a home office, playroom or dining area while keeping the room feeling as big as it was. Full details on frameless glass room dividers.
Frameless glass room dividers for Bedfordshire properties
Bedfordshire's housing includes Victorian terraces in Bedford, 1930s semis in Luton and Dunstable, and new-build estates along the A421 corridor. Whatever the age of the property, we check the floor, walls and ceiling before anything is made, because internal glass is only as good as the opening it fits. On the commercial side, much of our Bedfordshire work involves business parks near London Luton Airport and offices in Bedford town centre.
Cost and lead time in Bedfordshire
As a guide, frameless glass room dividers typically cost £320–£520 per m² plus VAT, supplied and fitted, with a minimum job of about £1,200. Your fixed price comes after the survey. Survey slots across Bedfordshire (LU, MK, SG) are usually available within a week or two, and lead time is around 3–4 weeks from survey, and most dividers are fitted in a day.
Building Regulations and safety
All glass is toughened to BS EN 12150 so it breaks safely in a critical location. In a flat, check your lease — many freeholders ask for consent before layouts are altered.
